About Us
Caique Crazy is just that- a group of fun loving people who are crazy about their feathered caique friends. We started our adventure in March of 2006 with a mouse, keyboard, and forum. The forum has grown member wise, undergone many facelifts and changes, and the staff at Caique Crazy Forums (CCF) has decided to launch this sister site. The goal of Caique Crazy is to unite caique enthusiasts, so they may have a place to gather and share photos and stories of their fids (feathered kids). We also want to answer any questions a propesctive new owner may have about what owning a caique is really like. I made the forum because every since I have known of, and owned caiques, it seems that a large majority of the information on the web is repatitive, or misleading. My goal for this website is to bring together all possible articles, advice, and insight pertaining to living with caiques. Of course, we cannot forget the cute pictures, and fun quizzes too :) This site is made for our faithful members of CCF, so they may have more resources- besides, the forum only has so much bandwith and all the stuff I want to put on there cannot possibly fit :) This site is also for all whom are a slave to a caique... my flock and I welcome you!About the Owner
Emily is a caique and avian enthusiast. She shares her life with five parrots, including two black headed caiques. Emily has owned birds for five years and is dedicated to enriching their lives and learning more about them on a daily basis. Emily is certified with the AFA as a certified Aviculturist, having completed the class put forth by the AFA called 'The Fundamentals of Aviculture'. This is the first class in a series of rigerious classes that lead to becoming a certified aviculturist. She has also successfully become certified with PIJAC and recognized as being a certified avian specialist. Emily runs both the Caique Crazy Forums and Caique Crazy Informational Website
